BROW Pre Appointment

Preperation

Eyebrow tattooing requires proper preparation for the best outcomes.

It begins with having a good canvas!

Make sure your eyebrow area is healthy, strong, not sensitive, and free from irritation.

Here are some steps to get your skin ready before the procedure:

  • Avoid tweezing, waxing, or electrolysis in the weeks leading up to the appointment to allow your hair to grow out fully.

  • Refrain from tanning or having a sunburned face two weeks before the service.

  • Avoid working out on the day of the appointment.

  • Refrain from Botox injections three weeks before and after the procedure.

  • To prevent excessive bleeding and ensure proper colour retention, Do not consume alcohol 24-48 hours before your
    tattoo session.

  • Check your skincare products, makeup, and primers for acid-containing ingredients.

  • Steer clear of high vitamin supplements like power shakes, greens, "Hair, Skin, Nail" vitamins 24 hours before the session.

  • Stop using Glycolics, Chemical Peels, and eyebrow growth serums two weeks before your appointment.

  • Avoid facials & do not use Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products near your eyebrows two weeks before and after the
    appointment.

  • Avoid coffee, exercise, and blood-thinning medications and supplements (after consulting with your doctor) such as
vitamin E, Fish Oil, aspirin, niacin, or ibuprofen a week
    before your appointment.

If you have taken acne medications like Accutane or Retin-A within the past year, your skin may not heal properly after the
procedure. It is crucial to wait a year before getting a tattoo. Discontinue using Retinol and Vitamin A a month before the
appointment.

We do not provide services if you are:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals under any circumstances.
  • If you have diabetes, glaucoma, skin diseases such as Shingles, psoriasis or eczema on the area of treatment.
  • Allergies to makeup
  • Keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or taking steroids.

please note

Congratulations on your new brows! Now comes the important part — proper aftercare to ensure
they heal beautifully and retain their colour.

FINAL RESULTS ARE DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY HOW CLOSELY YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS

Aftercare

how to care for your brows (days 1-10)

Day of the Procedure

Gently Blot the Area - Use a clean, dry tissue or sterile cotton pad to gently blot your brows every 15 minutes for the first 1 hour.
This helps absorb excess lymph fluid to prevent scabbing. Apply a small amount of Aftercare after the hour.

Avoid Washing - Do not wash your brows on the day of the procedure. Allow the area to start healing naturally.

  • Keep them dry for 5-7 days. Apply the recommended aftercare morning and night (more often if needed).

  • Avoid getting them wet: Shower with your head tilted back, wash your face around the brows with a damp cloth.

  • Skip exercise and sweating for 14 days. This minimises infection risk and pigment retention.

  • Don't rub, scratch, or pick. Sleep on your back if possible to avoid friction.

  • Limit sun exposure. Wear a hat if you must be outdoors.

  • Avoid all other products for 14 days. This includes makeup, oils, soaps, and other skincare.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS

Days 2-4 — Brace yourself for darker brows. Scabs will form, making them appear much bolder than expected. Don't panic! This is
temporary.

Days 5-7 — The scabs will harden and flake off in small pieces. The fronts and tails usually go first. Resist the urge to pick! Let them fall
naturally.

Days 8-10 — After the scabbing, your brows will look significantly lighter. This is normal! Their true color is still developing.

Days 14-28 — Over the next few weeks, your brows will gradually darken and may appear patchy at times. Don't worry! This is part of the
healing process. It takes around two months for full healing.

The end outcome is not intended to remain as dark as your brows seem right after the procedure is done. Over the course of 4-6 weeks following the treatment, your brows will gradually lighten to a more natural shade.

To ensure our clients are comfortable with their transformation, we offer them the option to gradually build up to a stronger color during their next appointment. This approach helps prevent any surprises and guarantees that our clients are pleased with the results, allowing them to confidently carry on with their daily routines without feeling self-conscious about their bold brows.

PLEASE NOTE

Things to Remember

  • Healing takes time. While there's no downtime, expect redness
and tenderness initially. Avoid social events immediately after.

  • Expect initial boldness. Your brows will appear darker and
thicker for the first few days. This is normal and fades as your skin
    heals.

  • Final results take weeks. Expect your brows to soften and reach their final color within 4-6 weeks. We offer a touch-up appointment for further refinement.

  • Book your follow-up appointment for any adjustments needed.

  • Makeup can be used as usual after two weeks.

microbladed brows

WHAT IS microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that uses a handheld tool to create realistic, hair-like strokes for your brows. It's
ideal for those with fuller brows, seeking definition, or wanting to reshape their existing brows.

Here's what to expect:

  • Two appointments: The first involves consultation, brow shaping, and the initial procedure. The second, scheduled 6-10 weeks
later, ensures optimal results and colour correction.
  • Natural-looking results: Microblading mimics individual hairs for a seamless blend with your existing brows.
  • Healing time: Full healing takes 30 days.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Microbladed eyebrows last 6-18 months, before it usually needs a touch up. This can vary depending on the skin type and how you
take care of the treated area.

WHO IS ENELIGABLE FOR MICROBLADING?

Microblading is not recommended for those with oily skin or large pores. If that’s you, you may want a shading or combination shading
and microblading technique.

Factors that will cause your brow tattoo to fade faster:

  • Tanning bed / sun exposure
  • Exfoliating
  • Oily skin
  • Medical conditions
  • Not following correct aftercare

We suggest a yearly "Colour Boost" to maintain your procedure colour integrity

Tooth Gems

What Are Tooth Gems?

Tooth gems are small, decorative crystals or jewels adhered to your teeth using safe dental adhesive, offering a personalized sparkle to your
smile.

Are They Safe?

When applied by a professional, tooth gems are safe and won’t damage your enamel. It’s crucial to consult a qualified technician for best
results.

Longevity & Care

Tooth gems can last anywhere from a few months to a couple of years, depending on your oral hygiene and lifestyle. While they don’t affect
oral care, be sure to brush carefully around them.

Removal & Sensitivity

Tooth gems can be easily removed by a professional without damaging your teeth. You may experience mild sensitivity after application, but
this is typically short-lived.

Add Some Sparkle to Your Smile

Pre-Care Instructions

  • Brush and Floss: Clean teeth thoroughly before your appointment to ensure the adhesive bonds well.
  • Oral Health Check: Ensure your teeth are healthy. If you have any signs of decay, infection, or gum disease, consult your dentist
    before proceeding.
  • Diet: Avoid eating heavy or sticky foods right before the procedure.
  • Let Your Technician Know: If you have any dental restorations (like crowns or veneers) or if you grind your teeth (bruxism), tooth
gems may not be suitable for you.

Aftercare Instructions

  • First 24 Hours: Avoid biting into hard or crunchy foods and avoid brushing directly over the gem during this period.
  • Oral Hygiene: Maintain regular brushing and flossing, but be gentle around the gem to avoid loosening it. Use a soft-bristle
    toothbrush.
  • Avoid Whitening Products: Refrain from using whitening toothpaste or treatments directly on the gem, as this can weaken the
    adhesive.
  • Routine Dental Visits: Continue with regular dental checkups to ensure both the gem and your teeth remain in good condition.
  • Handling Sensitivity: If you experience mild sensitivity after the procedure, it should subside within a few days. If the discomfort
persists, contact your technician or dentist.
  • No DIY Removals: Always have your gem removed by a professional to prevent damage to your enamel.

Suitability

Gems are best placed on natural teeth, not on crowns or veneers. If you grind your teeth or have poor oral health, you may not be a
suitable candidate.

Contraindications

  • Tooth gems may not be suitable for everyone. Before proceeding, ensure you are a good candidate by considering the following:
  • Poor Oral Health: If you have active gum disease, cavities, or infections, you should avoid getting tooth gems until your oral
    health is restored.
  • Dental Restorations: Tooth gems should not be applied to dental work like crowns, veneers, or implants, as the adhesive may
    not bond properly.
  • Enamel Erosion: If you have significant enamel erosion, the gem may not adhere well, and there is a risk of further damage.
  • Bruxism: If you grind your teeth, the constant pressure may cause premature detachment of the gem or damage your enamel.
  • Allergies: Some clients may have allergies to the adhesive or gem material. Be sure to disclose any sensitivities to your technician.

Risks

  • Enamel Damage: Improper application or removal can lead to enamel damage or tooth sensitivity.
  • Infection: Non-sterile tools or materials increase the risk of infection.
  • Discomfort: Poor placement or large gems may cause irritation to the surrounding gums or lips.
  • Choking Hazard: If a gem becomes loose, there’s a small risk of choking or inhalation. Contact your technician if the gem begins
    to detach.
